Kirby's Mill, Medford, NJ Engagement: Taro + Kim
Kim and Taro met like so many other couples, online dating. The unique twist in their story is Kim had signed up that night, and Taro was the first person to message her. It was love ever since- if that’s not fate, I don’t know what is! When I met Kim and Taro via FaceTime almost a year ago, I was so excited to have the opportunity to work with them both. Kim is super sweet and bubbly, and Taro is always smiling (which makes for the cutest combination). We’ve stayed connected on Facebook and Instagram, so when we finally met in person, it felt like catching up with old friends. The day of their engagement session it was drizzling all day long, and I was unnerved at the thought of having to reschedule since it wouldn’t be easy with Kim and Taro living out of town. Luckily, it cleared up shortly before and we were able to get some great photographs at Kirby’s Mill in Medford, NJ. Did I mention there was a special guest at their session? The latest addition to their family, Chairlie. He is such a sweet, excited, and super obedient pup- the combination of a perfect gentleman. My favorite moment had to be when he started biting and chasing his leash while Kim and Taro were romantically strolling along- you’ll see below! I’m so happy to be a part of their big day next October at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club!
Kirby's Mill is known for the gorgeous red barn, so we had to take full advantage of that!

Taro was in charge of throwing leaves with his left hand... seconds later a huge, clumpy pile of leaves fell on their heads, making for a hilarious moment.
2015 Holiday Mini Sessions Announced
It's the most wonderful time of the year.... Almost! This year, I've been taking on less family shoots because I've been so busy with my wedding clients. However, I'm getting lots of requests for holiday minis- so here are the details.
-A very limited amount of sessions will take place on October 25th and November 8th. This is my super busy season, so unfortunately, these are the only two dates I have available.
-The mini session will be $200 and includes a 20 minute time slot, five digital images (your choice), and 10% off any additional products ordered.
-The location on 10/25 will be Boundary Creek in Moorestown, NJ. The location on 11/8 will be at Barclay Farmstead in Cherry Hill, NJ.
-The first five clients to book their session will receive three additional complimentary digital files.
-All sales are final. Sessions are non-transferrable and cannot be rescheduled. Holiday Mini pricing does not apply to shoots already booked, or future shoots beyond October 25h or November 8th.

White Clay Creek Country Club, Wilmington, DE Wedding: Tom + Caitlin
I've been anxiously awaiting this day ever since I first met Caitlin and Tom on FaceTime many months ago. I think it clicked when we both realized our mutual love for our pups. Tom and Caitlin have two adorable little terrier girls (Maddie and Marley) and of course, I have my guy, Pixel. Clearly, our dogs HAD to meet during this FaceTime meeting. Next we had a gorgeous engagement session at Brandywine State Park- here's the session. It was here that I saw, in person, how adorable Caitlin and Tom really are! So in love, she affectionately calls him Monkey- I'll hear the story to that one day! The way Tom looks at Caitlin is just enough to start the tears. Needless to say, on their wedding day, there were tears.... not only from the guests, but from behind the camera.
Caitlin wore a GORGEOUS Maggie Sottero gown.
Petal Pushers put Caitlin's florals to life- completing her light pink and mojito green color scheme.
Caitlin was ready to get married down to her nail art- she rocked an "I do" on her ring finger- so adorable!

We drove golf carts down to this rustic bridge at White Clay Creek.. yes, golf carts- see below!
We feverishly checked our weather app- luckily, we beat the rain! It started just before the ceremony- on a covered porch.
The storm rolling in made for an expressive sky.
I clung to the back of a golf cart with my second shooter and assistant, as the wedding coordinator drove us around... I'm sure we weren't going very fast, but it always seems a little risky, holding all of your gear, trying to snag a shot, and trying not to fall off!
Cakes by Kim made the Mallees' adorable wedding cake.

Indian Spring Country Club, Marlton, NJ Wedding: Paul + Katie
Paul and Katie were married early August and were blessed with the most gorgeous day- a gentle breezy and a bright skies. Their navy, yellow, and gray wedding came together with Katie's favorite flowers- sunflowers of course! It was the most smooth, go with the flow sort of wedding day I think I've ever experienced! It was just stunning... let's let the photos speak for themselves!
Katie's a big fan of sunflowers- her gorgeous bouquets are from Leigh Florist.
Everyone loves a hairspray shot! Katie's hair and makeup were done by Taffeta Hair and Makeup Design.

We headed to Indian Springs Country Club for bridal party shots under a gorgeous willow tree.

So in love with this gorgeous blue building we found on the grounds at Indian Spring Country Club, Paul and Katie are so in love and adorable together! Katie needs to get on the cover of a bridal magazine ASAP.
The reception decor included lots of sunflowers and vintage, glass bottles as table decor- so colorful!
Katie's seventh grade students wrote quotes about love that were spread all throughout the reception area- they were hilarious (and so true)!

Jack's Barn, Oxford, NJ Wedding: Nando and Ali
When I arrived at Jack's Barn, Nando was arranging chairs, along with his closest friends and family, while Ali took at break from setting up, to get her hair and makeup done. When all was complete, it was just as Ali described it would be in our previous conversations, but better- sunflowers, royal blues, mismatched furniture, small mementos and photographs everywhere, countless string lights leading to gorgeous chandeliers... pinch me.
Ali, Nando, and their family headed over to Twenty Belvidere, just down the road for their getting ready, first look, and family photos. The mansion was filled with charm, and again, I needed to be pinched!
While leads me to Ali and Nando... not only was their wedding just breathtaking, but they are just the most adorable couple you've ever seen. So, so, so in love. Just as we were waiting for Ali to come down the steps for their First Look, Nando appeared to be nervous, and yes, he just saw her an hour ago (maybe less), but that's how in love they are. They are so sweet, and so thoughtful, I need more of them in my life!
I can't think of any other way I would want to welcome the wedding season for 2015, rather than with Ali and Nando! Congrats to you two, it was such an honor to capture your wedding day. A special thank you to an awesome friend for assisting me in capturing this great day, Sue!

The Flanders Hotel Bridal Show
When I saw there was a bridal show coming to The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City, NJ- I knew I wanted to be a part of it. The Flanders is one of my favorite places to shoot, and it's also where my husband and I were married four years ago- needless to say, it holds a very special place in my heart. The architecture is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the hotel rooms will make you wonder if you could somehow live there forever.
So... what do you bring to a bridal show? Here's my list!
